Everyone was really impressed with the marquee and we thought it looked brilliant. It was the perfect size and we had everything we needed thanks to your advice leading up to the wedding.
Thank you so much for your help in the build up and for making the set up and taking down so smooth. We were so impressed when we arrived at Trevor Hall on the Wednesday and it was already set up, it meant we had plenty of time to decorate which was a huge help.

We used Astra Marquees for a party in our garden for my dads 70th birthday last weekend and Ray was our first point of call when we booked him for our marquee earlier in the year.
So he was a great find because Ray recommended a fab DJ and catering company and being such a personable guy it was very easy to trust his recommendations and on the night we were not disappointed!
As the event moved closer our requirements changed regarding dance floors, toilets and chairs etc and Ray accommodated all our needs and helped us through what I found quite a stressful time holding a party for 70 in our garden!! Nothing was too much trouble which was great for us!!
All the pre party support was faultless and then when it came to the assembling and taking down of the marquee again I can only sing Ray and his teams praises as they were punctual and worked their socks off in the blazing heat putting up our 12m by 12m marquee which I have to say looked truely stunning on the day of our party!!
We would totally use Ray at Astra Marquees again and would recommend him to anyone organising a marquee event!!

I did not find Astra Marquees through a recommendation but by luck on the internet. I contacted a number of marquee companies but it was Ray Henderson who made me feel he could fit my budget and there was not going to be a problem. He was helpful and efficient from the first contact reacting to my queries speedily. I was unsure about sizes of marquee and when it seemed we need 2 marquees, one for the actual ceremony, drinks and coffee and a larger one for the meal and dancing Ray was flexible about sizes and agreed that the size of the second tent might be tight and he immediately was able to suggest an alternative. What we ended up with me was better than I imagined and worked very well.
We were generally very happy and felt that Ray helped to make our daughter and son in law’s day a very special one. Ray travelled a long way to put our marquees up in Snowdonia. After the wedding everything was taken away speedily on the Monday and the place was left clear.
I would recommend Ray to anyone for a wedding in a difficult place with a tight budget and am grateful to him and his team.
We were impressed by your punctuality, and reliability from day 1. I made contact with four firms; you were diligent, interested, accommodating, consultative and courteous.
At the time, our brief was not fixed, and benefitted from both your patience and guidance. This was head and shoulders above the other firms, and marked your services as credible.
Throughout the planning period, we appreciated the ease of communication. This was particularly important to us, as we’re not resident in the UK, and was highlighted to all suppliers; you stood out on this front.
Our wedding was everything we could have ever hoped for, and Astra Marquees played a harmonious role in bringing together our plans for the day.
Our venue had never before hosted a wedding which did not phase Ray and his team. He took care of discussions with the site, coordinated with cateering and bar services, and arranged for the small touches and fine details which added to the final wow factor.
Amazingly, he even sourced a pair of antique 1930s skis as a final touch to our Alpine themed reception.
Working with Astra felt at all time like a partnership. Our vision was understood, and we worked together towards this shared goal.
Even when things became complicated beyond our expectations, Ray was patient, and supportive.
The service we received is rarely paralleled: concierge style attention, entirely individualised, and faultlessly dependable. 10/10.
So, needless to say, if we ever need a marquee again – we’ll be in touch! Thanks for everything you did Ray. You really did deliver.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and your company to others, not only because of the excellent service you provided but because you were so helpful throughout our wedding preparations. For every request we had, you went out of your way to try to find a solution (despite the fact that we changed our minds every five minutes!).
After being let down by another company, we were apprehensive about booking the marquee, but we didn’t need to be at all. The marquee was exactly what we wanted and you were professional but friendly and approachable throughout. It looked beautiful and kept us completely dry in the occasional torrential downpour!
